The Founders programme
50 people · applications open · rolling selection
The mic is free. Not discounted, not a paid early-access deal: free, for fifty people who genuinely share what this project is about. In return we ask for very little — and nothing ongoing.
Talas isn't looking for early customers. It's looking for people who want this thing to exist, and who'll tell us what's wrong with it once it's in their hands. A repairable mic that nobody talks about repairing is just another mic.
1What we ask of you
Two things — a promise between us, not a contract:
- Feedback on the mic. At least once, in any form: a note, an audio file, a message. What you liked, what bugged you, what you'd have done differently.
- A shout-out, once. A post, a mention, a credit on a track, a word on a show — you choose how.
Nothing ongoing. After that, you're completely free. If you go quiet, nobody will chase you: the project can wait.
2What you get
| What | Details |
|---|---|
| The mic, completely free | A Talas One from the first production run. Founders get theirs first, to test it and talk about it. |
| Early access to Veza | Every version — alpha, beta, release candidate — before the public. |
| Public credit | Your alias is enough. In the documentation, on the community page and in the Talas Sessions to come. |
| Your name in its logbook | The logbook of your mic reads “Founder #N — alias”. |
3How it works
- No interview, no video call. That wouldn't square with the anonymity the project stands for — yours or ours.
- An answer within a month, at the latest.
- The mics ship with the first production run. Until that run exists, we're choosing people, not shipping anything yet. Where things stand.
- Rolling selection: there's no deadline. We read applications as they come in, until we have fifty.
4Apply
Six questions. It takes five minutes, and the last one matters most.
5What won't get in
Better to say it here than in an unexplained rejection: corporate or marketing profiles, influencer accounts with no real connection to the project, and anonymous applications with no trace of any work. It isn't a judgement — the programme runs on trust, and trust needs something to hold on to.
